New Transfer Carts Put into Use to Improve Forging Handling Efficiency and Appearance Protection
Previously, old simple trolleys were used for the transfer of forgings and steel billets in the workshop, with problems such as bulky body and insufficient steering flexibility. Under heavy load conditions, multiple workers were required to complete the operation, resulting in high labor intensity. In addition, workpieces were prone to bumping at channel corners, causing surface dent defects on forgings and increasing subsequent grinding and repair workload.

To reduce front-line operation intensity and strengthen the protection of forging appearance and dimensional accuracy, the company purchased a batch of new transfer carts. The new carts optimize the frame stress structure, are equipped with highly flexible casters and upgraded load-bearing capacity. A single worker can complete the push-pull operation smoothly with flexible steering. Protective baffles and buffer pads are installed on the body, which can effectively reduce the risk of forging slipping and mutual bumping.

The new equipment has been recognized by front-line employees after commissioning. The operation load of posts with frequent transfer of small and medium-sized forgings has been significantly reduced, and personnel fatigue has been alleviated. Meanwhile, bumping damage during forging transfer has been significantly reduced, the amount of appearance rework has decreased, and the intact rate of forgings has improved. Employees also take the initiative to implement fixed-position management and daily cleaning and maintenance of equipment. The upgrade of small tools has practically improved the operation experience and also enhanced the delivery quality of forgings.

Hot Forging Die Repair Service Officially Launched to Help Customers Reduce Costs and Increase Effic
July 2, 2026In our cooperation with many die forging factories, we have found that there is a common pain point in the industry: after long-term use, hot forging dies are prone to problems such as die cavity wear and corner chipping, but the main structure of the die remains intact. Direct scrapping causes avoidable waste, and the procurement cost of large hot forging dies is relatively high, so overall replacement will significantly incRead More
