Comprehensive Rainy Season Protection Ensures Stable Forging Production
As the local area enters a period of continuous rainfall, humid weather poses challenges to equipment and material management in the forging workshop: exposed steel materials are prone to rust, and equipment circuits are vulnerable to moisture-related failures. To ensure uninterrupted production, the plant activated its rainy season protection plan half a month in advance, implementing comprehensive rain and moisture-proof measures to maintain stable production schedules.

Drawing lessons from past incidents where heavy rainfall caused sewer blockages at the workshop entrance, flooding the work area and soaking machine tools—resulting in production shutdowns and economic losses—the plant focused on the following key measures:
Drainage and Backflow Prevention: Thoroughly unclogged drainage pipes at the workshop entrance and installed sandbags to block rainwater inflow;
Material Moisture Protection: All ground-stored steel materials were transferred to elevated racks and covered with waterproof tarpaulins to isolate moisture;
Equipment Circuit Protection: The electrical team inspected all equipment circuits, replaced aging wires, and placed desiccants inside distribution boxes for moisture resistance;

Daily Inspection and Control: Before the end of each workday, personnel covered equipment, closed doors and windows, and checked for indoor leaks. During rainfall, dedicated personnel conducted regular patrols to address hazards immediately.
With these full-process protective measures in place, the workshop remains dry and tidy, equipment operates stably, and steel materials show no signs of rust. This effectively mitigates the negative impact of severe weather on production, ensuring continuous and stable forging operations.

Hot Forging Die Repair Service Officially Launched to Help Customers Reduce Costs and Increase Effic
July 2, 2026In our cooperation with many die forging factories, we have found that there is a common pain point in the industry: after long-term use, hot forging dies are prone to problems such as die cavity wear and corner chipping, but the main structure of the die remains intact. Direct scrapping causes avoidable waste, and the procurement cost of large hot forging dies is relatively high, so overall replacement will significantly incRead More
